Duo

Classic and contemporary, popular and erudite, from Brazil and the World, as experimental as it is tender.

Partners for over 15 years, Lívia Nestrovski and Fred Ferreira have released the album DUO (2013) and performed in 20 countries during their frequent tours — including theaters and festivals across five continents.

In 2017, they performed at the Damascus Opera House in a concert promoted by the Brazilian Embassy, becoming the first Brazilian musicians to step on Syrian land since the beginning of the conflicts. In 2023, they won 1st place at the Gwangju Busking World Cup in Korea.

They have created and premiered new music with Oniros Ensemble (Portugal) and Quasar Dance Company (Brazil), expanding their artistic reach into contemporary chamber music and original soundtracks.

Flesh of the Pear

Voice and guitar, synthesizers and soundscapes, in subtle, profound, and elegant experimentation.

From hundreds of encounters between artist and audience around the Globe, Lívia & Fred crafted a repertoire of life and songs that they carry in their baggage. Fascinated by the unveiling of new places and people, they have traversed the world and in return have been traversed by it, constructing a musical narrative that reflects the diversity of human experience.

A threshold of musical genres, which boldly dives into the diversity of Latin American song — sewing colorful interactions between voice and guitar.

Through Lívia's virtuosic yet dramatic vocals, combined with Fred's extremely original use of the electric guitar, synthesizers, and soundscapes, they blend sophisticated harmonies, bold timbres and captivating melodies.
